The house Virginia Woolf rented after leaving Bloomsbury. It was previously owned by…
After leaving #bloomsbury Virginia Woolf moved into this house with her sister - they would have food fights and there was general mayhem. #Woolf chose the house because George Bernard Shaw had been an earlier tenant there. In ep. 7 of #TalesandTrails I’m at Woolf’s house.

The house where Sylvia Plath lived and wrote…and the other house where she died. #talesandtrails

For ep 5 of Tales and Trails we’re at the house of poet Sylvia Plath, in fact at two of her houses. In the first, she lived with Ted Hughes and wrote important work. In the second, she killed herself. But the house where she killed herself is remarkable for another one of its residents-none other than Yeats! #authors #talesandtrails #poets #sylviaplath #yeats #london

Episode 3 of #TalesandTrails - in this series I wander to and through the residences of great #authors and #philosophers and others who have been a great influence on me. Exemplars who have helped make me who I am. Today I’m at the London house of #ambedkar and I walk from here to the nearby house of Friedrich Engels, trying to figure out if Ambedkar might have visited Engels’ house.

This series tours to and through the homes of great authors and exemplars. Today I’m following in the footsteps of Joyce. This is the house in London where he wrote Finnegan’s Wake and married his muse and partner of many years, Nora. #TalesandTrails

Than you sir...❤❤
Loved this lecture. Out of curiosity - What is the book/author mentioned at 13:21? I was not able to parse it out.
Ban such books which insult ambedkar. Ambedkar is man of such an heights who can not be subject of mockery and comedy.
According to Sylvia Plath she rushed home, making plans to secure a lease on Fitzroy Road, and opened her copy of Yeats' Collected Plays on a random page and found “Get wine and food to give you strength and courage, and I will get the house ready.”
Ofcourse it's the correct way...😂😂
Whole camera he is full himself.
unprecedented explanation sir but Voice is very low, sir
Wow! ❤
Is it french language that you're reading sir ?
it is German

Sir, I've read the book and it was well written with Every details which is related to babasaheb Because of that it has brought him alive again sir, thank you so much for your hard work sir I really appreciate it 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 waiting for second volume sir 🥳🥳
Gonna order it ASAP. Thank you 🙌🙌🙌
You are doing what most of the ambedkarites should do to spread the message of ambedkar in anti casteist movement. But aren't doing unfortunately. They need to wake up before it's too late.
True brother, people need not to wake up but need to build courage to question this casteist religion.
Great lecture. It should be more often on this book. Its a masterpiece tbh. Just completed it..
Brahminists and casteists are having melt down in the comment section. Just imagine what ambedkar had to go through during his life. But we shouldn't be afraid of speaking the truth. Hinduism is a brahminism and brahmin made the jati and varna and Brahmin scriptures are filled with caste and misogyny and violence. You can't hide the truth...
Its a great book. Everybody should read it. Thanks for teaching it
Good job man, but why use the lords name in vain at the very end? GD hill 😢
One of your slides has a mistake; J Keen is critical of J. TruePenny's direction for CE. In the slide was written J. Keen was critical of J Foster's direction
Very good explanation !
Thank you Aakash sir !
hinduism is a casteist relgion when you read gitapress books to all the apologetics here is a reply to your claims 1.hinduism has fundamental principles and shastras and all of them are casteists. the authority lies in shastras such as vedanta (4 vedas , upanishads and gita) and smritis but puranas are considered least authentic , also in hinduism plain translation is not considered authentic , you have to either rely on commentary of some guru of some sampradaya to understand the meaning in context 2. with all the interpretations of vedanta , hinduism is a casteist and misoginyst and varna is from previous birth and discriminatory in nature , also manusmriti Is authentic , this is proved by its mention in ramayan and Mahabharata as an authentic text for administration . also gita itself says that varna is from gunas which come from swabhav and these swabhav are a result of action of past life , even ramanujacharay of vaishnav panth says that varna is based on past life and chandogya upanishad 5.10.7 also says the same . 3. you can view the commentary on gita by any smaparadya advait=shankaracharya interpretation of gita vaishnav-ramanujacharya's interpretation of gita gaudiya vaishnav- sri chaitnaya mahaprbhu shaiv- abhinavgupta interpretation of gita even gitapress bhagvat gita which was first published by founder of gitapress by jayadayal goenka says the same stuff that varna is based on past life 4. therefore hinduism on administrative level and spiritual level is casteist , misogynist and full of discriminatory practice.
Spot on !!!!
to all the people commenting shit here is my reply to you 1. doing whataboutism in the name of Islam only shows how much braindead you are that you cannot even defend your religion without whataboutery . 2. he has been a professor at several universities .Rathore has taught at Jawaharlal Nehru University, the Universities of Delhi, Rutgers, Pennsylvania, Toronto, Humboldt Berlin, LUISS-Rome, and O.P. Jindal Global University. He is International Fellow of ETHOS, Rome, and Fellow at the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla. 3. your ad-hominems by associating him to some prints wont make si argument any least effective . 4. he is talking about aryan invasion in the sense of migration and yes aryan migration has evidence unlike invasion , so braindead chhavda fans you can cry your heads somewhere else so try to refute the argument not just using braindead logical fallacies
Thank you Sir…From Ghana 🇬🇭
Hey Aakash, loads of background nuisance, hope you have improved now
What's the small bowl about then ? By the way nice clipping
I understand that this a long shot to seek a reply from you, sir. But, I'd really like to learn more about your claim that Bhagvat Gita is more or less a product of 1850s. I tried searching it on the internet and I see nothing about it. At the same time thinking about the claim I can see some logic to it. If my tone isn't clear in the question, I am asking this with immense curiosity.
Absolutely amazing lecture! Workshops of this kind don't happen in JNU anymore. I am glad you uploaded it here. Could you please upload the remaining parts of the workshop if available?
When will the part २ of this book be released?? You told by the end of December it would be released. Now we are heading towards March but still no news about it's second part. I have been waiting impatiently.
Far be it for me to weigh on this or that side of the debate between Hart and Fuller, but I can opine that Hart's position is a bit too extreme for me, while I don't at all like the notion of "Morality," as a guiding principle in law or otherwise. Here's an example: Let's assume that Roe vs Wade is still the law in the US. The Fullerists, I presume, would say that it violates the principle that murder or intentional killing of a human being is wrong, and thus abortion laws of any kind violate Natural Law. Hartists, I presume, would introduce refinements, such as (1) Allowing proscribed abortions is a public policy (to enable, for example, people to decide when they want to have children; for example, to prevent kids from ending up destitute in orphanages; to allow, for example, saving the mother's life under certain circumstances; to allow, for example, a woman who had been raped not to carry the child of the rapist. and several more exceptions). Who is right? clearly, if one is NOT "Pro-Life," Hart's position prevails (and I agree), but Fuller would say that the governing principle is the 'Thou shall not intentionally kill another human being" (except in war, in an execution [yes, and I don't agree, but for a completely different reasons]. Who is right? In other word, neither one seems to have 100% of the Truth on their side, so why the argument? Could we not say that, in real life, competing ideas and ideologies often clash, but must they? I suppose that's called Utopia, which the place I prefer to exist. As usual, legal & philosophical questions may be CLARIFIED by many, many examples --back & forth. Well presented Professor Singh Rathore. Thanks.
I'm a South Indian and I'm in pune now, I needed this 😂😂
No surprise there that Zizek's is the most insane critique; almost hard to come up with a more ridiculous one than that.

Interesting thoughts.
I was following you for a while. Never thought I’d see one of your videos on shorts.
Seeing your happiness after tasting the coconut water just brings a smile to my face. After having dryfasted on occasion the last few years, I can just say that one doesn't cherish the abundance of food available to us until one has dryfasted. The mental clarity and connection to God is unparalled during a dry fast. To anyone seeking those things I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
Sir when is coming volume 2?
Hi
I stumbled across your review of The Doctor and the The Saint. Now to purchase YOUR book! I wonder if you have read No Laughing Matter - The Ambedkar Cartoons 1932-1956? Only Volume 1??
Sir, please translate this book in Hindi or marathi language. I am eagarly waiting this translation.
Hah hah! "Moral infiltration" 9:35 in video. You make it sound like morality is an evil invader or rapist. That is a word leftist godless western postmodernism would use. I hope fullers philosophical view of the law will prevail someday. Now in my USA we have legal positivism, which allows for evil criminals to roam with impunity like goths and vandals around our urban hellscapes, and for people like Trump to be arrested because he paid a prostitute hush money 7 years ago. See how legal positivism works. Using and crafting laws, then manipulating them to create the ethically dystopian parody of a goddamned world we live in today.
Just one question, Prof. Rathore: What process is going to determine the prices of the billions of different goods and services that people consume, in a Communist economy? It is not going to be the free market -- because that has been eliminated. So, it has to be the central planning bureau that determines the billion prices -- and this model of the economy has been so successfully demonstrated by the Soviet Union and other Communist states! Pray tell, why did all the Communist systems of the 20th century just collapse, or convert their economies into capitalist ones (as China did)? Karl Marx was caustic in his critiques of 'utopian' socialists. And then he went on to outline the most perfect utopia that there ever was! And even worse, his utopia gave licence to Stalin, Mao, Pol Pot and so many others to indulge every genocidal fantasy of theirs. Prof. Rathore, here is some free advice. Read a few popular publications by Friedrich Hayek, Milton Friedman, and Thomas Sowell. I am pretty sure that you have sufficient intelligence to grasp the salient points of their arguments. However, what I am not so sure of is this -- whether you have the requisite openness of mind to let those ideas penetrate your brain. Young Miss Rathore -- ask someone other than your dad this question: "What message about Communism is George Orwell trying to convey through his Animal Farm and 1984?" Unfortunately, your father is clueless!
Hilarious- “Thomas Sowell” !!!
Weird obsession with Ambedkar.
Hey
Biggest pitfall is the assumption that everyone is capable of elevating one's consciousness.
I wonder about the assumption that few people are special and hence able to elevate their consciousness.
Plz translate book in hindi or marathi langauage
